MIKE KERR







Mike Kerr's work makes me very happy indeed.
I'm hunting down the best illustrator (in my opinion) for
research for an illustration brief I have not quite started yet
that involves humans and animals alike. Mike Kerrs animals
are fantastic, I think he has their characteristics pretty much down
but in a rather clever and humorous way. He has also
used (I think) paints in a way I've never seen before. Inspiring, huh?

And that cockrel/chicken looks just like
Graham from the Jeremy Kyle show, no?

I love vintage adverts, the creepier the better.
I came across these, again, whilst researching
for my Sainsburys brief. Erm, they really are bloody
strange. How can that little girl eat such a massive
amount of meat?
